Gay Mitchell calling for an independent inquiry into death of three europeans in Bolivia.

MEP TO RAISE SHOOTING OF FORMER GMIT STUDENT

April 2, 2012 - 2:01pm An Irish MEP will call on the Bolivian authorities to launch an independent inquiry into the death of a GMIT graduate.
24 year old Michael Dwyer was shot dead by Bolivian police in April 2009.
The Tipperary man completed a four year construction management degree in GMIT in 2008 and during that time workes as a bouncer in the city.
Dublin MEP Galway Mitchell is on a three person official visit to Bolivia which is Latin America's biggest recipient of EU aid.
While there, he will meet the Bolivian President, the vice president and the foreign minister.
In a statement to Galway Bay FM News, Gay Mitchell says he will call for an Independent inquiry into the shooting.
