Estimado Señor Presidente: Le pido la liberación de Elõd Tóásó. - El 16 de abril de 2009, un comando de la policía detuvo a Elõd Tóásó en el hotel Las Américas de la ciudad de Santa Cruz. A pesar del hecho de que él no se defendió, fue fuertemente golpeado y sus derechos humanos fueron violados. - Usted lo ha acusado de participar en planes de ataque contra su persona.
Le ruego tenga a bien la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos, artículos 9, 10 y artículo 11.1
Artículo 9 Nadie podrá ser arbitrariamente detenido, preso ni desterrado. Artículo 10 Toda persona tiene derecho, en condiciones de plena igualdad, a ser oída públicamente y con justicia por un tribunal independiente e imparcial, para la determinación de sus derechos y obligaciones o para el examen de cualquier acusación contra ella en materia penal. Artículo 11 1. Toda persona acusada de delito tiene derecho a que se presuma su inocencia mientras no se pruebe su culpabilidad, conforme a la ley y en juicio público en el que se le hayan asegurado todas las garantías necesarias para su defensa.
Asimismo, la Constitución Política del Estado de Bolivia garantiza la presunción de inocencia de toda persona, en este caso de Előd Tóásó. Es por ello que solicitamos que el Estado de Derecho en Bolivia asegure un juicio justo e independiente y un tribunal de justicia imparcial para Előd Tóásó.
En este sentido, sabemos y creemos que Usted como Presidente de un país democrático y elegido democráticamente, no permitirá que el proceso contra Előd Tóásó continúe avanzando, proceso que está cargado de errores de procedimiento, utilizando pruebas de que no son del procedimiento penal ni obtenidas mediante medios legales, con grandes irregularidades. Esto es contrario al Estado democrático de derecho en todos los procedimientos llevados a cabo por el protocolo y la norma.
Estimado Señor Presidente: Előd Tóásó es un ciudadano europeo que no es un terrorista, no es un soldado, sino un profesional informático. Él es un hombre pacifista que nunca hizo daño a usted ni a ningún otro hombre. Por favor, asegúrese. Visítelo en la cárcel, hable con él y sabrá que Előd Tóásó es un hombre inocente y justo, que merece que se le envíe de vuelta a Europa, a su familia.
Estimado Sr. Presidente: Usted tiene el derecho como el Presidente de Bolivia, de enviar a Hungría a Elõd Tóásó. Por favor, muestre al pueblo y al mundo que Usted es un hombre justo y generoso que le importa la vida y el destino del hombre. Por favor, déjelo libre, devuélvalo a Hungría!

Dear Mr. President,
I am asking you to grant freedom to Előd Tóásó.
On April 16, 2009, following your order, Előd Tóásó was arrested in the Las Americas Hotel of Santa Cruz. Despite of him not offering any resistance, he received severe ill-treatment from members of the special police squad, and all his human rights were violated. He is accused of taking part in the preparation of an assassination attempt against you, and the accusation was even broadcast in several political campaign films.
Dear Mr. President, I am asking you to ensure the presumption of innocence for Előd Tóásó, in accordance with the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Sections 9 and 10 and Subsection 11.1, and relevant provisions of the Constitution of Bolivia.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states the following:
„Artículo 9: Nadie podrá ser arbitrariamente detenido, preso ni desterrado.
Artículo 10: Toda persona tiene derecho, en condiciones de plena igualdad, a ser oída públicamente y con justicia por un tribunal independiente e imparcial, para la determinación de sus derechos y obligaciones o para el examen de cualquier acusación contra ella en materia penal.
Artículo 11: 1. Toda persona acusada de delito tiene derecho a que se presuma su inocencia mientras no se pruebe su culpabilidad, conforme a la ley y en juicio público en el que se le hayan asegurado todas las garantías necesarias para su defensa.”
I know that in the constitutional state of Bolivia you uphold the law and will ensure the rights of Előd Tóásó for an honest investigation and – if necessary – a trial by an independent and impartial court. I also know and believe that you, as President of a democratic country, elected by democratic means will not allow the legal proceedings against Előd Tóásó to go ahead based on irregular procedures and evidences obtained by means not sanctioned by law, as this would be against the criminal procedure rules of any lawful democratic state.
Dear Mr. President,
Előd Tóásó is a European citizen, not a terrorist, not a soldier, but a computer engineer. He is a pacifist, who would never harm you or any other human being. Please obtain personal evidence of the character of Előd Tóásó by visiting him in prison and talking to him. I am sure that you will be convinced that he is an innocent and honest man, who deserves to be released and let go home to Europe, to his family, since he had an insignificant and incidental role in this case. You, as President of Bolivia have the right to let Előd Tóásó return home to Hungary. Please, show to your people and the world that you are a just and generous man, who cares about the destiny of another man, Előd Tóásó. I hereby ask you with respect to free him and let him return to Hungary.

Tisztelt Elnök Úr!
Kérem Önt, hogy engedje szabadon Tóásó Elődöt.
2009. április 16-án a santa cruzi Las Americas Hotelben, az Ön parancsára letartóztatták Tóásó Elődöt. Annak ellenére, hogy nem védekezett, a bolíviai rendőrség különleges egységének emberei súlyosan bántalmazták, és minden őt megillető jogot megsértettek. Azzal vádolják, hogy merényletre készült Ön ellen, és erről politikai kampányfilmeket is bemutattak.
Kérem Önt, hogy az Emberi Jogok Egyetemes Nyilatkozata 9., 10., és 11. cikkely 1. bekezdése, és a bolíviai Alkotmány rendelkezései alapján biztosítsák Tóásó Előd részére az ártatlanság vélelméhez való jogot.
Az Emberi Jogok Egyetemes Nyilatkozata kimondja:
„9. cikk: Senkit sem lehet önkényesen letartóztatni, őrizetbe venni vagy száműzni.
10. cikk: Minden személynek teljesen egyenlő joga van arra, hogy ügyét független és pártatlan bíróság méltányosan és nyilvánosan tárgyalja, s ez határozzon egyrészt jogai és kőtelezettségei felől, másrészt minden ellene emelt bűnügyi vád megalapozottsága felől.
11. cikk, 1. bekezdés: Minden büntetendő cselekménnyel vádolt személyt ártatlannak kell vélelmezni mindaddig, amíg bűnösségét nyilvánosan lefolytatott perben, a védelméhez szükséges valamennyi biztosíték mellett, törvényesen megállapítják.”
Tudom, hogy Bolívia jogállam, és Ön biztosítani fogja a tisztességes eljáráshoz és a független, pártatlan bírósághoz való jogot Tóásó Előd részére. Ennek fényében, azt is tudom, és hiszem, hogy Ön, mint egy demokratikus ország, demokratikus úton megválasztott elnöke nem fogja megengedni, hogy Tóásó Előddel szemben olyan eljárást folytassanak le, ami eljárási hibákkal terhelt, olyan bizonyítékokat használjanak fel, amit nem a büntető eljárási törvényben megfelelő módon szereztek meg, eljárási szabálytalanságok során. Ez ellenkezne minden demokratikus jogállam által lefolytatott eljárási protokollal és normával.
Tisztelt Elnök Úr!
Tóásó Előd egy európai állampolgár, aki nem terrorista, nem katona, hanem egy informatikus. Ő egy pacifista ember, aki sem Önt, sem más embert soha nem bántana. Kérem, győződjön meg róla. Látogassa meg őt a börtönben, beszélgessen el vele, és tudni fogja, hogy Tóásó Előd egy ártatlan és igaz ember, aki megérdemli, hogy hazaengedje őt Európába, a családjához. Önnek, mint Bolívia elnökének jogában áll, hogy Tóásó Elődöt hazaengedje Magyarországra. Kérem, mutassa meg a népének és a világnak, hogy Ön egy igazságos, nagyvonalú ember, aki törődik egy másik ember, Tóásó Előd sorsával. Tisztelettel kérem, engedje őt szabadon, engedje haza Magyarországra.
